One of the confirmed Coronavirus cases is a Ghanaian – Kojo Oppong Nkrumah reveals

In a new update to the coronavirus which has been recorded in Ghana, the Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah gas said one of the people who reportedly ‘imported’ the corona into the country is a Ghanaian.

 

The ministers said the other person is are both males, adding that they entered Ghana through the Kotoka International Airport (KIA).

The two started showing symptoms on Thursday and they reported to a health facility, he said.

On Thursday- March 12, the Minister of Health Mr Agyeman-Manu explained that laboratory results from the two cases were received at the same time from the Noguchi Memorial Institute for Medical Research (NMIMR).

 

Both individuals involved in the case returned to Ghana, one from Norway and the other from Turkey signifying that they were imported cases of COVID-19 into Ghana.
