I’m ready and willing to provide free consultation on the legalization of “wee” – Kweku Baako


The editor-in-chief of the New Crusading Guide newspaper, Kweku Baako Jnr has joined the crusade for the legalisation of marijuana popularly called “wee” in the country.

Mr Baako has revealed that he is prepared to offer any service available to see to the legalisation of the banned substance.

Contributing to the discussion on Accra based Peace FM via text, the veteran journalist declared his willingness and readiness in any regard.

Many stakeholders have called for drug reforms which will see the decriminalization of the use of cannabis popularly known as “wee” in Ghana.

According to them, the move would help generate jobs and revenue for the country.

The cultivation, sale, and possession of cannabis for recreational purposes are illegal in Ghana and can lead to punishment.
