The USA-Ghanaian based investigative journalist Kevin Taylor has revealed a shocking development ongoing now about the Minister of Roads Hon. Kwasi Amoako Atta about his comment about the e-levy.
” Roads Minister, Kwasi Amoako-Atta, has stated that the government is seeking to use E-Levy as collateral after its passage in Parliament.”
According to the investigative journalist Kevin Taylor; “There’s an ongoing serious confusion within Cabinet with some persons within the Akufo Addo-Bawumia Government asking for the Sack of Road Minister Amoako Atta.
The issue however is that folks in Government are not happy with the Minister letting the cat out of the bag on issues of the E-Levy.
Amoako Atta revealed today in Parliament that the reason for Akufo Addo asking for Ghanaians to pay E-Levy was for the Government to use the proceeds as Collateral to take extra Loans to burden the already collapsed Ghanaian Economy
Some senior members of the government believe this is a slap on their face with this revelation, their case of convincing Ghanaians to pay e-levy has been made worst by Amoako Atta.”
